Scope of the service

PlayTavla is a free online backgammon game played in the browser. There is no real-money play, betting, or gambling; points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money.

Accounts

A guest account is created automatically when you visit. Signing in with Google makes your account permanent. You are responsible for the security of your account, including access to your device.

Fair play

The following may result in an immediate ban:

• Cheating, using automation/bots, or exploiting bugs,
• Insults, harassment, hate speech, or spam in chat,
• Collusive games played to inflate points,
• Sending excessive requests that harm the service.

Game rules and points

Dice are rolled cryptographically on the server; moves are validated server-side. Abandoning a game counts as a forfeit and costs points. Scoring and rules are described on the rules page and may be updated without prior notice.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation; during the beta, data (points, history) may be reset. PlayTavla is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service.
